Meenah, being Theif of Life, can ‘steal’ life, right? Well I think she can also ‘give’ life away. Hence all the highfives. I think by touch, she can transfer ‘life’ to the recipient. ei. Highfiving Dirk helped him survive his risky plan.
Highfiving a ghost, however, does nothing but make players happy.
EDIT: Or maybe highfiving a ghost gets rid of the ‘creepy’ feeling people get when talking to a dead person. (like, remember Dead Aradia?) I don’t know.
